"4.0 out of 5 stars" - I borrowed this humidifier from a family member when I had a sinus infection, then got Covid a month later. I found that it helped tremendously with my dry eye syndrome symptoms as well as the sinus/coughing symptoms, so I decided to buy one for myself.It has great programmable humidity level features. I don't use the night light features, but they would be nice for a baby's room. You can rotate the cone at the top to direct the steam where you want it. It does a nice job of increasing the humidity level in the room and stopping at the desired level (you do have to reset this every time you unplug it). It's a little difficult to press the buttons to set it, but once you figure it out, it's not too bad. The water and the motor do make sounds when it's running, but I've gotten used to them now.Unfortunately, the one I purchased drips water out of the cone and down the side of the unit as condensation accumulates. The borrowed one did not. I submitted a return request through Amazon, and received the replacement quickly. It also leaked. Both units had the same lot number, so I submitted a question to the manufacturer on their website (tried calling, but their outgoing message was in French). I returned the first unit to Amazon and decided to keep the 2nd unit and use a plastic 5 gallon bucket lid underneath to catch the drips. I sop up 1-2 tablespoons of water per day. I never heard from the manufacturer, however, a week or so later, I received a replacement unit with a different lot number on it. Unfortunately, that one also drips/leaks. I decided to keep it, got another bucket lid, and use it in the living room.It is a great humidifier, if you can manage the dripping.

"Good set of features, but very disappointing quality." - The unit has lots of desirable features at a good price point, especially the humistat control that allows the unit to keep a specific humidity level in the room. This feature was the main reason we bought this model. The night-light is also a nice bonus. For the short amount of time it was functioning, the humidity control feature worked great.Unfortunately, the quality of the unit is just not up to par and it is now broken and unusable after only two days of operation. A very thin, flimsly plastic ring that holds the spring-loaded gasket closed snapped off. It was never dropped or put on incorrectly. This happened from gently placing it on the base only a few times. It makes a mess of water all over the place now and won't start humidifying because it doesn't detect it on the base correctly.I'd also add that it is not intuitive at all to set a humidity level. The instructions are not clear. For example, they say to "press auto within three seconds" to set the humidity level. I read that to mean within three seconds of it powering on. They actually mean to hold it for 3 seconds, which would be fine but that's not correct either. In reality, you have to hold it for twice that amount of time (5-6 seconds). I almost returned it because I thought the auto button was defective.The noise level of the unit is also a bit disappointing. It's not loud, but it is definitely noticable enough to be irritating. We have a different unit in another room that is much quieter.This really *could* have been a good unit if the plastic parts were made better. I will be returning it for a refund and will find a different model.
