"4.0 out of 5 stars" - Ok, I was looking for a baby monitor that had both a parent unit and an app available. I tried a few other brands but wasn’t successful. Then I came across this brand, which I wasn’t familiar with, and noticed that all the reviews were 5 stars. HOWEVER, they were all from people who WERE invited to review the product. So, I decided to buy it and come back here as an independent buyer to provide an honest review.By far, this has been the best-quality camera I’ve ever had! Of course, nothing is perfect, and there are some aspects that don’t work for me, but they might work perfectly for other families.Pros:- One standout feature is that the camera does not have or maintain a blue light to indicate that it’s on. This is excellent because it allows the room to remain completely dark.- Offers the option to use both the parent unit (physical monitor) and the app (online monitoring)- The camera updates almost instantly, unlike other cameras that take nearly a minute to update the online video- Split screen: you can see both kids at the same time- You can adjust the camera from either the baby monitor or the app- Excellent screen quality- It measures the temperature and humidity of the rooms and also displays the time – this may seem simple, but none of my other monitors had all three functions together.- When the camera moves it is completely silent, which is also a great feature because it doesn't wake your kid up.Cons:- While it captures 100% of any sound in the room (which is great), it becomes an issue because the volume is so loud that it startles me every time my son makes even a small noise. I’ve adjusted the volume to the lowest setting, but I think the microphone quality is so good that even at the lowest level, it’s still too loud.- The parent unit automatically switches between cameras based on detected sound/movement. This is not ideal for parents like me with small children. I have a 19-month-old and a 4.5-year-old, so at night, I want to keep the split-screen view but have the audio only from the toddler’s room. The only way to do this is by disabling the sound/movement option on the other camera (in my case, my 4.5-year-old’s room). The problem is that once you do this, the app stops recording ANY (and I do mean any) sound or movement from the older child’s room. That said, if you go to the archive, it will never show up whatever happened in that room because it stops recording everything. That is the main reason why I am taking 1 star...- The battery could last longer. It’s not enough for a full night.I don’t need the “diapers and feeds” function, so I can’t comment on that.Overall, I am very happy with it and after 4 years having experience with different products, this one would be the one I would recommend.

"1.0 out of 5 stars" - Day one, super easy set up, found settings, and turned it off, next day, settings not showing in app, camera seems "stuck" as the picture stays the same and it shows "loading" for a long time, go take the camera to do a reset, and it's hot. App does start working better after reset, but not for long. I unplugged it and will try again tomorrow, maybe my turning it off in the app did something to make it get hot and it may be fine tomorrow, but a little disappointed. Was amazed how easy this was to get started (the day before put in a couple "smart plugs" for lamps, and it took forever to "hook up" to wireless). Will edit after I try again tomorrow, hope it works, great picture, motion detection etc, did turn off night vision as it was set up in a window. More later......Update: I left the camera unplugged overnight and now it seems fine. The picture is so clear even through a window, motion detection is great, app has been very easy to use. I like that it has a setting for 24 hour record or to record just events triggered by the motion detection. VERY happy I gave this cheap camera a try! I would buy this brand again. OH, my version has a base with holes for screws, screws included. I have it anchored in my window by simply putting one screw through the hole in the base down into the space where the bottom moveable part of the window meets the top stationary window. The camera base is small enough to fit and balance there, just didn't want to risk it falling ofSeptember 28 UPDATE, It's been showing as "offline". Getting tired of fussing with this thing. I guess for a really cheap first try at home security cameras, this one was OK, but who wants to deal with problem after problem. I will just shop around and be prepared to spend about 4x what I did on this one to find one that does need tweaked, babied, reset, cooled off, etc every few days. I was happy with the ease of setup so I will call this a learning experience, buy a better camera, and keep this one, for the time being, in my window because the pain in the a(( neighbors won't know it's NOT working and still functions as a deterent to bad neighbor drama.
