"5.0 out of 5 stars" - I’ll be honest, the baby monitor market is so crowded and overwhelming, but I am beyond happy with this one! If you’re a fellow "anxious mom" like me, you need this. The picture quality is absolutely incredible. It is so clear that I can actually see my baby’s chest rising and falling as they breathe—which, let’s be real, is the only way I can actually relax and get things done! Whether it’s broad daylight or pitch black in the nursery, the clarity is spot on.The absolute best features for me:The Lullabies: This has been a total game-changer. Being able to play music remotely has saved me so many trips into the room. I can soothe the baby back to sleep from the couch without "breaking the seal" by walking into the nursery.Zero Failure: I’ve been using this for a while now and it has never failed me once. The signal is strong (way better than my old monitor), and it’s so reliable. No Apps/Wifi: I love that this isn’t tied to my phone or a subscription. It’s simple, secure, and works straight out of the box.Remote Pan & Tilt: Being able to rotate the camera 360 degrees remotely is so helpful when you have a little one who likes to wiggle into the corners of the crib. It’s durable, the battery gets me through the day, and for the price, the quality is just unbeatable. If you want a monitor that does the essentials (and more) perfectly, just get this one!
"3.0 out of 5 stars" - Does what it is supposed to but wish there were the following fixes. The parent unit screen needs to be able to get more dim, like barely perceptible dim. It also needs to be able to filter out white noise. Additionally, for the sleeping parents, the parent unit is too bright and too loud to sleep comfortably. We have our white noise machine about 10 feet from the camera and at about half volume and it projects too loud onto the parent unit. The baby unit camera does not appear to be HD when in night mode and it frequently detects night mode even when there is sufficient light in the room. Also, say you have the screen off and the volume off on the parent unit. If you press the volume button up once, it turns on the screen but does not turn on the volume. Many times I’ve gone to turn on the volume and forgot that it needs to essentially be pressed twice to turn on. If the baseline noise wasn’t so loud with the sound machine, I wouldn’t be frequently turning the volume off of the unit to begin with though. But imho the power button should turn on the screen and the volume button should turn on the volume exclusively. There are times for example in the middle of the night when you have the screen off and you just want to raise the volume just a tad and you cannot do that without also turning on the screen which again is too bright even on the lowest setting.
