After a failed year grappling a knockoff version, it was like Xmas morning (in September) when we finally got the real deal.This thing is single-handedly preserving my adult sanity while my brethren rage daily war in our playroom. Between two infants in a nanny share, an imaginative toddler, and a very lazy husband - I mean dog - this thing gets nonstop use. Some of our favorite ways the Nugget is used for play:- Creative pretend structures: a boat, a car, a castle- A ramp/slide for things to roll down- Infant jungle gym (especially with Pikler triangle connections)- A maze for hide-and-seek and chasing games- Table and seats for tiny tea parties- Secret fort for toddler to hide from infantSome of my favorite non-indicated uses:- Secret fort for me to hide from children- Emergency mattress during sleep regressions- Genuinely comfy overflow seating for social events- "Hammock" seating for football season (see: lazy husband - I mean dog)As mentioned, we fell prey to poor budget-management decisions a year ago and got a knockoff play couch. The covers were flimsy, the cushions were thin, and the whole thing was basically skinny-fat within six months: looked like a play couch from the outside, had absolutely no structural integrity or muscle when put to action. It was fine as a gateway to a bigger-ticket Nugget purchase but if you are only going to do it once, do it right - just get the freaking Nugget.I do wish there were some more subtle color options - a greige, a charcoal, or a seafoam - and/or material choices (I'd kill for a velvet play couch!) But I understand not every company will cater to my desaturated millennial needs. Also, let's be real - the way this thing gets used, it'll be "aesthetic" for approx 29 minutes of the day max, and that's kinda entirely the point.Five starrrrrs and honestly tempted to buy another one... do we think this would buy me time to shower??
